Our philosophy

Joy is stillhere.

Not as a reward for finishing. Not as proof that life is easy. As part of a full life, available in more than one form.

Joy expressed through movementReturn to the idea

The name

Joy,
Still.

A recognition. A pause. A decision to notice what remains, what returns, and what is just beginning.

What we believe

A full life can hold more than one truth.

Joy can sit beside ambition, responsibility, uncertainty, grief, pleasure, and change. We create practical ways to recognize it, make room for it, and share it.

How it takes shape

Five practices. Many ways to live them.

01

Notice

Awareness, attention, and honest reflection.

02

Choose

Agency, self-trust, boundaries, and discernment.

03

Tend

Rest, care, ritual, faith, and what sustains you.

04

Delight

Beauty, play, pleasure, and creativity.

05

Gather

Connection, conversation, culture, and collective joy.

From the work of Dr. Kelly Théresa

The research asked what makes a full life possible.Joy, Still asks what we do with the answer.

My doctoral research examined joy, agency, and wholeness in the lives of Black women executives.

Joy, Still carries that inquiry into everyday life, through the ideas, practices, products, and experiences that help us notice, make, share, and keep close what matters.
